Recipe: Chinese Stir Fry Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb beef cut into thin strips
  • 1 head of broccoli (cut into small florets)
  • Coconut oil (4 tbsp)
  • 1 Chopped onion
  • Chopped garlic (4 tbsp)
  • Soy sauce
  • Water (4 tbsp)

Marinade:

  • Chili powder (1 tbsp)
  • Turmeric powder (1/2 tbsp)
  • Cinnamon powder (1/2 tbsp)
  • Pink salt (1 ½ tbsp)

Preparation:
Mix the sliced beef with the marinade ingredients and allow to sit for an hour or two.
Heat wok and add in coconut oil. When oil is hot, add in chopped onions and stir fry till golden brown.
Add in garlic and beef strips and fry under low heat.
Keep stirring until beef is cooked.
Turn up the flames to high heat. Add in the broccoli and soy sauce and stir mix well.
Add in 3 tbsp of water to the mix and stir well under high heat. Once you see broccoli is cooked, remove and it’s ready to serve.
